Contractor Disclosure Policy & Forms
The LAFPP Contractor Disclosure Policy requires contractors to fully disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest to ensure transparency, prevent impropriety, and protect the integrity of the pension system’s decisions. The policy mandates reporting of campaign contributions, gifts, payments, and contacts with officials, as well as relationships with intermediaries such as placement agents and lobbyists. Contractors must provide initial and ongoing disclosures, with specific rules for investment managers, consultants, and service providers. LAFPP staff review and report these disclosures to the Board, and violations may result in penalties including termination of agreements, reimbursement of fees, and bans from future contracts. All disclosures are public records, reinforcing accountability and ethical standards.
